Over 1,000 Sulcata tortoises hatched in China's Hainan (2/4)

The new hatchlings were given birth to by adults imported from Africa. The sulcata tortoise, which originally lives near the seashores on the southwestern edge of the Sahara desert, is an endangered species on the IUCN Red List. (Xinhua/Jiang Enyu)
