China-made ARJ21-700 jet completes first flight in Shanghai (1/2)

China's independently-developed regional jet ARJ21-700 (Serial No. 105) completes its first flight in Shanghai on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. The first ARJ21-700 is to be delivered to its launch customer Chengdu Airlines at the beginning of next year. Made by the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, the airliner rolled off the assembly line on Dec.30, 2013 and entered the flight test station on June 10, 2014.
