A woman holds a poster of herself at Shanghai’s Xintiandi area yesterday in front of a wall of similar portraits. The project is the brainchild of artist JR who brought a mobile truck fitted out so that people could have their photographs taken at the popular tourist spot. After giving their names and e-mail addresses, visitors can print out their pictures and have them put on display. The art project will run until tomorrow and then be repeated from May 21 to 29. The Shanghai event is part of a worldwide tour by the artist. — Xinhua
