Rare snow leopard spotted in Sanjiangyuan Region, NW China (2/2)

Rare snow leopard is spotted in Sanjiangyuan Region (or Three Rivers Headwater Region) of northwest China's Qinghai province respectively on Dec. 20 and Dec. 22, 2013, according to the local forestry bureau on Feb. 19, 2014. The snow leopard is a moderately large cat native to the mountain ranges of Central Asia. It is listed on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species as Globally Endangered. [Photo/China News Service]
