Authorities of Hangzhou ordered ten high-end clubs in West Lake park to close on Jan. 17, with other fancy establishments in public park grounds to shut in the coming days. Five clubs including Xihuhui in West Lake, known for luxurious decorations, expensive meals and services, were shut down on Jan. 16, according to a statement from Hangzhou city government. The move targets to close all high-end clubs in West Lake and other historical cultural grounds, so scenic spots are used primarily by locals and tourists, the statement said. (Xinhua)
