The construction of Thai–style Buddha halls in the Baima Temple is nearly completed, and the halls will open to visitors in the first half of this year.

To guarantee the authentic Thai style, the halls' plan, design, and decoration are all undertaken by Thai side.

The Thai-style Buddha halls in the Baima Temple were built in 1990s; in 2010, Thailand financed the expansion and renovation of the project to enrich and highlight Thai Buddhism culture and architecture, as well as to promote culture exchanges between Thailand and China. Now, the main buildings have been completed.

Baima Temple, meaning White Horse Temple literally, is the first Buddhist temple in China. It was built in 68 A.D. in Luo Yang, central China's Henan province. Nowadays, it features different styles of Buddha halls.
