'Jia' selected as yearly word to describe Taiwan in 2013 (1/2)

The Chinese character "Jia" (假) is announced as the yearly word to describe Taiwan in 2013, after one-month voting, on December 9, 2013. Co-hosted by the Far East Group and United Daily News, the selection received a total of 62,172 votes. The result shows Taiwan people's concern over food safety.
