Another 'ghost town' in N China (1/3)

Photo taken on September 21, 2013 shows a worker standing before unfinished villas of Jingjin New City in Tianjin's Baodi District. The town, planned to be the largest building complex of villas in Asia, has become another one of China's empty cities, as its occupancy rate has descended and hundreds of villas are in a suspended state. Most of the restaurants, hotels and supermarkets have been closed, with only some eye-catching billboards left on the city's quiet, deserted streets. [Photo: CFP]
