Lingering drought continues in Guizhou and Hubei (3/10)

Photo taken on Aug. 7, 2013 shows a nearly-dried pond at Xiaotang Village of Wuyang Town in Zhenyuan County, southwest China's Guizhou Province. Zhenyuan County has since June been hit by lingering drought that made 50,000 people lack adequate supplies of drinking water and crops in a total of 78,666 hectares of farmland damaged in the county.
