Severe drought continues in Chongqing

A lake in Chongqing's Qijiang District dries up due to severe drought. The city has witness the prelude of drought in early February in some of its districts and counties. By February 27, 191,900 residents, 86,500 large animals and 534,300 mu (88,018 acres) of farmland in 16 districts and counties were affected. [Photo: CNS/Chen Chao]
