The Laohuzui Hydraulic Power Station, located in Nyingchi Prefecture of Tibet Autonomous Region, has formally joined the power grid of the Tibetan plateau June 25, 2011. The hydraulic power station, with the highest dam height in Tibet Autonomous Region, is built by the third division of Chinese People’s Armed Police Forces (APF) Hydropower Troops. [CNS Photo]
