PLA troops in chemical defense emergency drill(2)

The officers and men are doing decontamination in the factory. A chemical defense battalion under a maritime garrison command of the East China Sea Fleet of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLAN) organized its troops to conduct the chemical defense emergency drill on December 24, 2014. The drill was conducted under the background that the "poisonous gas leakage" happened in a chemical factory in Songjiang of Shanghai. The chemical defense troops immediately rushed to the accident site and accomplished the emergency handling such as reconnaissance, demarcation, supervision, surveying and decontamination within half an hour.
