World-leading: straddle type monorail rapid transit system at airport

The monorail vehicles of passenger rapid transit system for Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport provide a world's leading customized straddle type monorail solution for an airport transit system.　

This monorail passenger rapid transit system will operate between Terminal T3A and Terminal T3B of Jiangbei International Airport, keeping the total travel time within 150 seconds. Passengers get on or off board inside the terminals, while the monorail line will pass beneath the airport apron.　

The equipment of this rapid transit system has been basically installed, and 8 vehicles have arrived at the site. The Operations Control Center (OCC) of the rapid transit has also been put into use and is currently dispatching and commanding the joint commissioning of the entire line. In the next step, commissioning work will be carried out successively from single vehicle to 2-4 vehicle marshalling, and by the end of February, the work of the full scale operation diagram will be carried out.
