The film shows the rich world of Xi'an, the simple, quiet, relaxing countryside, to the dynamic, busy, ever flowing rhythm of the city. The films main focus is the people of Xi'an, their authenticity, their enthusiasm, and the landscapes and the world in which they live. The landscapes and cityscapes tell a story of their own, as do the faces of the people.
