The Jampa Buddha statue, which stands 26.2 meters tall, is situated at the Tashilhunpo Monastery in Xigaze, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region. The Tashilhunpo Monastery, founded in 1447, is one of the oldest and largest Gelug sect monasteries in Xizang.
