The 2024 Qintong Boat Festival kicked off at Qinhu National Wetland Park in Jiangyan District of Taizhou, east China's Jiangsu Province on Saturday. Hundreds of boats with more than 10,000 boat team members gathered here for the Qintong Boat Festival, a centuries-old tradition.
As a unique water temple fair with a history of over 800 years, the Qintong Boat Festival in Taizhou has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Folk Festivals in China by the National Tourism Administration, and is listed as a national intangible cultural heritage project.
