More than 200 winter swimming enthusiasts from all over the country enjoyed chilly fun on Saturday in Songhua River, Jilin City, northeast China's Jilin Province.
Affected by multiple factors, the Songhua River, which flows through Jilin City, is ice-free all year round.
The temperature near the river was below minus 20 degrees Celsius on Saturday, but winter swimming enthusiasts braved the cold and enjoyed swimming in the river. The event also attracted tens of thousands of tourists and citizens to cheer for the players on the bank of the river.
