To explore a new model of elderly care that aligns with China's national conditions: expert

The Parallel session "Silver Economy: New Opportunities from Global Aging" of the sixth Hongqiao International Economic Forum was held in Shanghai on Monday.

Justin Yifu Lin, dean of the Institute of New Structural Economics at Peking University, said that aging can be expected. It is not a "black swan" %26mdash; an unforeseen event with extreme consequences. 　

Yifu Lin believed that to achieve the development of a high-quality aging cause, it is necessary to combine China's reality and explore a new model of elderly care that aligns with China's national conditions. 　

In the context of a global aging population, the elderly are increasingly recognized as an important factor affecting the long-term development of the economy and society.
