The multimodal transport channel for new energy vehicles between Ganzhou and Shenzhen was officially opened on Wednesday in Ganzhou International Inland Port, east China's Jiangxi Province.
A total of 150 homegrown new energy vehicles in 50 containers will be shipped from Ganzhou International Inland Port to the Shenzhen port, and ultimately arrive at the Rotterdam port in the Netherlands.
The new multimodal transport channel, combining rail freight and sea transport, has provided a new logistics solution for the export of new energy vehicles in central China. Around 6,000 to 8,000 China-made new energy vehicles are expected to be shipped from Ganzhou International Inland Port through the multimodal transport channel this year, which means one freight train carrying new energy vehicles will depart from the Ganzhou port and head towards the Middle East and Europe every two or three days.
