Wuhan resumes direct flights to London

At about 3:55 a.m. Friday, Airbus A350, operated by China Southern Airlines, took off from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport and headed for London Heathrow Airport, marking the resumption of the passenger air service between Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, and London. 　

Scheduled every Friday, it was the first resumed flight from Wuhan to Europe. 　

Opened by China Southern Airlines on May 30, 2018, the direct flight from Wuhan to London was grounded after the flight on January 22, 2020, due to the pandemic. 　

Wuhan Tianhe International Airport has been resuming international flights on a large scale as the global aviation market continues to recover.
