Shunbei 84 Inclined Shaft becomes Asia's deepest onshore well

The vertical depth of Shunbei 84 Inclined Shaft in northwest China's Tarim Basin has topped 8937.77 meters, making it Asia's deepest onshore well in terms of vertical depth with a daily output of 1,000 metric tons of oil equivalent, according to China Petrochemical Corp, the world's largest refiner by volume.
