A batch of humanitarian aid materials, sent by the Red Cross Society of China to earthquake-hit areas in Türkiye through the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, departed from the Shanghai Pudong International Airport on Monday.
The shipment contained 20 metric tons of urgently needed cotton tents. They will be handled by the Turkish Red Crescent Society and distributed to people in affected regions.
The RCSC pledges to offer more humanitarian aids if needed, and will keep abreast of the relief work in the disaster-hit areas.
