Rare oriental white stork spotted in central China

An oriental white stork was spotted foraging in South Dongting Lake Nature Reserve in Central China's Hunan Province.

The oriental white stork, a migratory bird species under first-class national protection, is listed as "endangered" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

South Dongting Lake Nature Reserve has continued to restore the local water ecology and improve the water environment in recent years, creating a better habitat for wildlife.
