Animal lovers dedicated to bird protection across China

(ECNS) -- Yang Jianfang, 67, has been engaged in feeding birds at the Riverside Park in Central China's Yichang City, Hubei Province for eight years.

Rangers at the Friendship Park in northeast China's Jilin Province have also built hundreds of nests for birds.

Yang feeds birds with freshly ground corn and rice everyday. Every time she blow her whistle, flocks of birds would come and have a big meal.

More and more local residents have decided to join her in feeding wild birds.
