Epiphyllum flowers bloom?at night in central China's Henan

(ECNS) -- Twenty-five epiphyllum flowers burst into full bloom overnight in a time-lapse video in Sanmenxia, central China's Henan Province.

Epiphyllum, dubbed the "queen of the night," belongs to the Cactus family. Its large funnel-shaped flowers are very aromatic. Epiphyllum usually blooms from June to October. It only blooms at night, and lasts for three to four hours.

Epiphyllum can grow up to 2 to 6 meters high and thrives in humid and warm environments.

Home-grown epiphyllum blooms are often seen as a sign of good things to come in China.
