Over 10,000 egret fledglings born in China's Xiangshan Forest Park

(ECNS) -- Over 10,000 baby egrets hatched by Poyang Lake in Xiangshan Forest Park of East China's Jiangxi Province at the beginning of Summer.

The little egrets, playing around their parents, create a picturesque summer scene.

Every year from April to August, the birds come to the forest park to rest and raise families. This year, the total number of egrets here has reached more than 100,000.

The park is home to over 200,000 birds of nine subspecies in the family Ardeidae, including great egrets and night herons.
