Xinjiang herdsmen transfer livestock to spring pastures

(ECNS) -- As temperatures rise, herdsmen in Heshuo County, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region have started transferring livestock to spring pastures.

Around 100 thousand sheep and cattle meandered along a mountain road, creating a grand sight.

Driven by the vertical distribution of climate, the seasonal move is not only a way to comply with the laws of nature, but also to avoid overgrazing.
