(ECNS) -- A freight train loaded with 1,980 tons of fiberboard departed the Yecheng County railway station on Wednesday. It is expected to arrive in Tajikistan after a 15-day journey.
The X41152 is the first freight train from Yecheng County to Tajikistan.
Yecheng County is famous for its minor industry--walnut processing and serves as a crucial distribution center and transportation hub in the region.
The launch of this train adds the number of freight train lines starting from Xinjiang as part of China-Europe freight train service to a total of nine.
