World's largest steel truss cable-stayed bridge set to open

(ECNS) -- The Baijusi Yangtze River Bridge in Chongqing is scheduled to open at noon Monday.

Local citizens were allowed to "Walk Over the Bridge" during the weekend.

In traditional Chinese culture, to "Walk Over the Bridge" is believed to bring good luck to the newly built structure.

The Baijusi Yangtze River Bridge is the world's largest steel truss cable-stayed road-rail bridge.
