(ECNS)-- A superboard automobile chassis was unveiled on Tuesday by a Chinese Smart EV technology startup in Shanghai.
The superboard integrates core components of smart EVs, including E-propulsion, suspension, brakes, steering, smart driving and thermal management systems.
The board was upgraded from a skateboard chassis.
The company developed Tophant and Superboard independently, which are different from the EV platforms prevailing in the industry.
The technology redefines vehicle development by adopting a modularization philosophy. Its merits cover a shorter development cycle and lower costs.
