(ECNS) -- An intangible cultural heritage handicraft competition has been held in Sandu Shui Autonomous County, southwest China's Guizhou Province.

Nearly 100 female embroiderers participated in the competition of batik painting and horsetail embroidery, whose raw materials include horsetail hair and silk thread. In recent years, Sandu County has been developing ethnic handicrafts to promote rural revitalization, enabling more than 36,000 rural women to find jobs and start businesses at home.
