(ECNS) -- At Hubei University of Arts and Science, several girls were spotted with bowls placed on their heads, even when reading in the library and eating in the canteen.
They are dance sophomores. By walking with bowls on their heads, they practice the basic skills of Mongolian Bowl Dance.
To perform well, they have to work on balance and speed to match with the cheerful and warm music. Therefore, the students spend extra hours on training after class.
It is understood that Chinese folk dance has been added to the curriculum since this semester.
