(ECNS) -- Spicy gluten strip makers in Pingjiang County, the birthplace of the snack, made yuanxiao of spicy gluten fillings on Wednesday to welcome the upcoming Lantern Festival.
Yuanxiao, a kind of glutinous rice ball stuffed with sweet fillings, is usually made to celebrate the Lantern Festival, the 15th day of the first lunar month.
These workers also made a giant spicy stripe-covered yuanxiao of nearly one meter in diameter.
