(ECNS) -- A massive public art installation called "The Eye of Chronos" was on display at Taikoo Li in Chengdu, Sichuan Province on Thursday.
The installation consisted of nine streamlined grooves inlaid with 18 magic light bands.
The flowing colors of the installation are driven in real time by open-source data on sunspots from the Munich Observatory and NASA.
