(ECNS) -- China's Chang'e-5 lunar probe successfully landed on the moon on Tuesday.
The spacecraft landed at the preselected landing area near 51.8 degrees west longitude and 43.1 degrees north latitude at 11:11 pm Beijing Time.
The lander is expected to collect about 2 kg of samples after 48 hours of work on the moon surface.
