(ECNS)--Zhang Xia, a firefighter on vacation at home in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, rushed outside when he heard some calling "an apartment is on fire."
Leaving his four-year-old child with a neighbor, and assisted by property management staff, he reached the blazing apartment inside a trash pin elevated by a crane.
Zhang managed to quench the flames before other firefighters arrived on the scene.
