(ECNS) -- Four ECMO machines arrived in Wuhan, the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak, on Tuesday.
The device pumps and oxygenates a patient's blood outside the body, bringing hope to patients in critical condition.
Four devices deployed from Sichuan and Jilin, were transported via charted flight from Nanjing.
It is said there are around 400 such devices across the country.
