(ECNS) -- Renowned epidemiologist Li Lanjuan checked up on coronavirus patients receiving intensive care in the East Region of Renmin Hospital.
Li, based at First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University, is a member of the high-level expert team convened by National Health Commission to fight the COVID-19 epidemic.
The East Region holds 700 patients, most of whom are severe cases.
Their conditions show a postitive trend, the hospital chief said.
