(ECNS) -- Two patients who had recovered from COVID-19 infection, donated plasma at a Chengdu blood center in Sichuan Province.
Surnamed Li and Jing, both were discharged from hospital earlier this month.
After learning a recovered patient's plasma might be helpful, they volunteered to donate 200ml each.
Qin Li, a blood transmission chief, said the plasma would be used to cure infected patients in severe and critical condition following tests.
