(ECNS)-- The Huoyan laboratory dedicated to novel coronavirus nucleic acid test was unveiled in Wuhan on Wednesday.
The highly automated laboratory designed to test 10,000 samples per day.
It will help provide Wuhan and its surrounding cities with sufficient testing capabilities.
The 2,000-square-meter laboratory was built in 7 days.
Nucleic acid testing is seen as a key measure to determine a confirmed case of novel coronavirus infection, and to see if those in quarantine are fully recovered from the disease so that they can be discharged from hospital.
