The Pingtan cross-strait road-rail bridge was connected on July 17.
It links downtown Fuzhou, capital of Fujian, and Pingtan - an island about 126 km from Taiwan.
The bridge has a six-lane expressway on top and at the bottom a railway for bullet trains traveling as fast as 200 km/h.
It's expected to be open to traffic by the second half of 2020.
