(ECNS) -- Ten African lions arrived at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport on Saturday.
The lions are all from South Africa.
It is the first large-scale introduction of African lions to Sichuan Province.
They were then trucked to the East Sichuan Zoo in Longchang.
They will meet visitors after a 30-day quarantine period.
