China's Defense Ministry said military relations with the United States have been developing smoothly. A spokesperson for China's Defense Ministry, Wu Qian, made the remark at a regular press conference on Thursday.
"As President Xi Jinping has pointed out, cooperation is the only correct option for China and the United States. China is willing to make joint efforts with the U.S. side, uphold the principle of non-conflict, non-confrontation, mutual respect, and win-win cooperation, expand exchanges and cooperation, and properly manage differences, so as to maintain stable military relations, while striving to make new gains," Wu said.
