Mongolia's Foreign Minister Tsend Munkh-Orgil spoke with the media concerning the Dalai Lama's visit to the country in November.
He re-iterated Mongolia firmly supports the One-China principle, and has always believed Tibet is an inseparable part of China. He added issues surrounding Tibet belong to China's internal affairs.
The foreign minister also said, although the Dalai Lama's visit to Mongolia was of religious means, the visit's consequences and influence were beyond the scope of religion. The matter subsequently affected bilateral relations. He said Mongolia bears the policy of separating religion and government, and the government never invited the Dalai Lama.
The foreign minister also said the Dalai Lama will not be allowed to visit Mongolia in the future, including through religious channels.
