With Russia's economy in recession the country's luxury market is coming to depend increasingly on Chinese tourists. They spent between 800 million and 1 billion dollars last year on trips to Russia, with up to 60 percent of that spent on shopping. Some luxury retailers and hotels are adjusting their services to become more "China-friendly".
