The number of COVID-19 patients in critical condition on the Chinese mainland has dropped to nine, Mi Feng, a spokesman of the National Health Commission, said at a press briefing on Monday.
Active imported cases on the Chinese mainland also decreased to 99 as of Sunday.
However, a burst of domestic transmissions and clusters have been reported in seven Chinese provinces in the past 14 days, raising concerns about a rebound.
