Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Monday held a phone call with Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tileuberdi and discussed the current situation in the central Asian country.
Wang reiterated China's stance on providing firm support for Kazakhstan in maintaining stability and ending violence.
China is willing to do its best to provide necessary support and assistance to the Kazakh side, Wang added.
The two officials also communicated on the next stage of high-level exchanges between the two countries, including the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
