China's top political advisory body on Wednesday expressed strong indignation and firm opposition to the passing of the so-called Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act of 2019 in the U.S. Senate, according to a statement issued by the Committee of Foreign Affairs of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee.
