    Sri Lanka observes nationwide silence for bomb victims

    Sri Lankans observed a three-minute silence on Tuesday for victims of a series of explosions that rocked the island country on Easter Sunday.

    So far 290 people were confirmed dead in the bombings, while over 500 were injured.
