Lien Chan, former chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang (KMT) party, will visit Beijing from July 12 to 14, a Chinese mainland spokesperson said Friday.
Heading a delegation of people from various sectors of Taiwan, Lien, also chairman of a foundation on cross-Strait peaceful development, will also visit provinces including Liaoning, Jilin and Zhejiang, said An Fengshan with the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council.
